Covered patio floor gets wet.

This started only a few weeks ago and the spot dries up within a day. It just sweats to the point where it s this is a covered concrete porch. When smooth slabs of concrete are wet it poses additional safety concerns for workers. The back porch is where my washer and dryer reside and it also gets wet but doesn t get quite as much sun and takes forever to dry.

The wall feels dry. When the air vapor cools down and matches the floor temperature condensation forms on the concrete this is also known as concrete sweating. My porch is soaking wet almost like it rained on the porch with no covering at all. The condition may occur because of the tiles porous structure.

I have a covered screened in front porch that does get wet with the florida storms and it does get plenty of sun but not enough directly to really dry the porch out quickly. Stone brick concrete and ceramic patio tiles sometimes have a common problem during the hot humid months of summer. I am trying to figure out the source of a wet spot that forms on my covered front porch right next to the outside wall of my home pretty much every time it is raining. It does this whether there is any wind or not so it has to be something in the concrete causing it.

I have not found a solution either. Laughing we get some 45 degree days quite a few in a row and then all of a sudden we get a south wind and it s about 75 degrees and about 80 percent humidity. And it s like the outside of a glass of cold water. I have the same problem with a covered concrete porch each time it rains.
